Invacare Absolute Wheelchair Cushion The Invacare Absolute (formerly the Essential) wheelchair cushion provides pelvic stability and comfort at an affordable price. Its molded, dual-firmness foam construction uses firmer foam to support the hips and thighs, with softer foam under the ischials. Formerly the "Essential" cushion. Dual-firmness molded polyurethane foam improves comfort and stability. Water-repellent cover helps protect foam from moisture. An affordable seating solution, the Comfort-Mate Extra is made from top-quality, dual-firmness, high-density and highly resilient molded foam with a waterproof coating. Dual-firmness molded polyurethane foam provides comfort and helps prevent bottoming out. Contours promote good postural position. Waterproof coating seals the foam to protect against moisture.
